Should you choose to take your pet(s) on days other than those we specify, we are not responsible for the outcome. We will tell you what damage you have done by not doing as instructed. We will explain how to correct the damage. We will do what can be further done to correct the damage, but the cause of the damage is entirely yours, and your costs to absorb, and we will require more money for our involvement to correct the damage.
VET INSTRUCTIONS When you need to take your pet(s) to your vet for tests and/or treatments on a certain day or days, then both you, and your vet are given full instructions from us - after you have completed, signed, and emailed/faxed our Contract back to us (confirming that you will be using our service to move your pets), after you have agreed to a proposed flight date. If we don’t have enough information to release this instruction yet, then we will let you know what we need (primarily the microchip number, and your agreed flight date), and wait for you to provide the information before sending the instruction.
Our instruction (to both you, and your vet) provides details about your pet that your vet needs to input on their test requests (primarily the microchip number but all the information we provide on that instruction is there for them to use), it exactly details what days you are to take your pet(s) to your vet, and they explicitly detail what tests and/or treatments to perform on your pet(s) using exactly what products (legally available in Ontario) for the country your pet(s) are going to. You will see for yourself that the instructions show that your vet is to fully identify your pet(s) when sending tests to laboratories, including the correct microchip number(s), they are to use IDEXX collecting labs on the same day as they do the test, and if they don't have the products listed in the schedule, it is their responsibility to get them in for your appointment. The countries that require tests and treatments be done before flight, often leave no time for error of any kind, and our instructions have been calculated to offer the maximum number of days for results to come back, and the proper treatments to be given with the proper separation of time between treatments (there is no room for error, no matter what your vet tries to imply after the fact).

Vets treat animals, and they provide certificates for work they do (they're not overseas document specialists).
All IPATA agents have to be international document specialists in a world where the documents, and rules are forever changing.
We know what the CFIA (and the destination country) wants to see on your vet's certificates, and we mark your vet's certificates accordingly, for them to correct exactly as we dictate, and in our email to them, we explain why (to avoid argument). Often, your vet will have errors on their second try at perfecting their certificates (it's a process back and forth with them).
Once in a while, we meet a vet (or vet tech) who refuses to follow our direction. In that case, the pet owner's intervention is required, and how they wish Petflight to proceed.
For whatever the reason that your veterinarian anchors their decision on, if they decide not to work with Petflight, we accept no responsibility for your Vets' own choice not to work with us, and/or not to follow our direction, and/or not to conform their certificates to international requirements as we direct.
