What am I signing?
CONTRACT ACCEPTANCE: With our quote, we always email our Contract, and Trading Conditions. If you want to use us, sign the Contract, add your name, address, phone, then email/fax it back to us before the stated expiry date. If you want to use us, at least sign our contract, and email it back to us. If we don't have our unrestricted signed Contract back from you, we will not work on your shipment. Once you sign and email our contract back to us, you can expect to be invoiced for work we do, whether you subsequently decide to cancel the shipment, or not - you contracted to move your pets with us, you have therefor agreed to pay us.
CONTRACT EXPIRY: The number of days shrink between when we send you our Contract to sign, when we receive that signed Contract back from you, and the date that the pet(s) are expected to fly. There must be enough time to properly handle your shipment in the available days left before the intended flight date. Beyond sending you our quote and contract, we do no work on your behalf until we receive that signed contract, which we will acknowledge receipt of, and will indicate what has yet to be done (at least initially).
CONTRACT OF SHIPMENT: READ THE CONTRACT CAREFULLY. Our contract is not to move your Animal(s) by any means possible to destination, but rather, very specifically covers only the single movement of your described Animal(s) together, on the date, the airline, and destined as our Contract states. Should anything whatsoever change from what is stated on our Contract (for whatever reason), Petflight will not absorb those costs resulting from any change(s), but will invoice any additional costs back to you, for you to pay us before any flight occurs.
If we receive the signed contract back from you beyond the expiry date, we will tell you IF WE CAN HANDLE THE SHIPMENT IN THE REMAINING TIME, and what's needed to make that happen.
If we don't receive the signed contract back from you, we will keep only a very minimal electronic file beyond the Contract expiry date, and accept that you’re still deciding. We won’t know if you remain interested, unless you contact us again (it's up to you, we don't push, or remind).
NOTE: COVID ADDITIONAL: In this time of Covid, should any unforeseen work need to be done, Petflight will invoice you, and you must additionally pay our invoice before the intended flight date. If a kennel cannot be bought, and/or if the airline is incapable of offering space on an intended flight, Petflight will not absorb any additional cost IRRESPECTIVE OF A SIGNED CONTRACT.
